About St. Martin’s

St. Martin’s is a small, family run Home providing high quality nursing care in a comfortable, homely atmosphere. The large Victorian-built house is set in extensive gardens and provides accommodation for 24 residents on a long or short-term basis.

Our Facilities

Resident’s rooms are bright and spacious and equipped with a nurse call system, private telephone line and a television point. Some bedrooms also have en-suite facilities.

St. Martin’s Story

The story begins in the early 1980s when the proprietor of St. Martin’s, Bernice Underhill, first became interested in working with the elderly after caring for her grandmother one summer.
