Our Facilities
Accommodation
St. Martin’s has 24 single bedrooms, 10 of which are en-suite. Rooms are bright and spacious and equipped with a monitored nurse call system, private telephone line and a television point. Our bedrooms are fully furnished but residents may bring their furniture, pictures and ornaments if they wish. Residents have a choice of two lounges where they can relax, participate in activities or simply enjoy the company of others.
Dining
All meals are freshly prepared on the premises and our cook liases closely with residents to ensure that the menus reflect their preferences. Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day. Residents have the option of taking their meals in the tastefully furnished dining room or in the privacy of their own rooms. All special diets are catered for.
Garden
Easy ramp access is provided to the attractive rear garden which has a furnished, terraced area where residents can sit and relax. An ornamental pond stocked with Koi Carp is situated at the side of the terrace and provides a point of interest.
Harmony Suite
Specially selected music and lighting effects are used to create an interactive multi-sensory environment in which residents can spend time under the supervision of a member of staff. The suite is also available for use as a private visitor’s room.
Beatrice Fairhead Suite
The Beatrice Fairhead Suite is equipped for use by visiting professionals, including our hair stylist and chiropodist who visit on a regular basis as well as General Practitioners, opticians and dentists.
