About St. Martin’s
Setting
St. Martin’s is a small, family-run nursing home providing high quality nursing care in a comfortable, homely atmosphere. The home is set in a large Victorian House which retains many of it’s original period features and provides nursing care for 24 residents on a long, short or respite basis.
There are two comfortable lounges, one with access to the sun terrace and landscaped rear garden. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard.
Every resident in our care has an individual care plan which is reviewed regularly by a qualified nurse. Additional services such as chiropody, physiotherapy and aromotherapy can be arranged as well as visits from opticians, hairstylists and dentists.
Local church ministers from a variety denominations visit the home on a regular basis. Individual Clergy are welcome at all times.
We were awarded a 3 Star-Excellent care rating by the Care Quality Commission in December 2010. To view our latest inspection report, click this link.
