About St. Martin’s

Setting

St. Martin’s is a small, family-run nursing home providing high quality nursing care in a comfortable, homely atmosphere. The home is set in a large Victorian House which retains many of it’s original period features. Family and friends are free to visit whenever they wish, at any time of day or night.

We offer a variety of activities to engage residents and promote well-being, including social, physical, and mental stimulation. These activities can be tailored to individual preferences and abilities, ranging from gentle exercise and arts & crafts to group outings and interactive games.

Additional services such as chiropody, physiotherapy and aromatherapy can be arranged as well as visits from opticians, hairstylists and dentists.

Links with Local Churches

We have in place arrangements with two local churches for pastoral visits from clergy from St. Peters Church of England, Maney and St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Boldmere. A service of Holy Communion is held at St. Martins every month and we can also arrange for communion to be brought to individuals who are unable to join the service.
